FREE JAZZ CONCERTS AT NORDHUS ALL WEEK

From July 7th to July 12th, we’re hosting free jazz concerts, both in our courtyard and in our concert hall.

Come enjoy a great concert and a delicious glass of wine.

Program of the day

12:00-14:00: Lunch in Nordhus

14:30: Eloise Park Project

16:00: Sandløber

Eloise Park Project performs minimalist and transcendent music. With a symmetrical lineup of two pianists and two drummers, the band achieves a unique sound that draws connections to groovy indie rock, modern classical music, explosive free jazz, and transcendent electronic music.
Eloise Park Project effortlessly combines compositional ideas with extended free sections, creating a whole that embeds expressiveness and contrast in a meditative and circular expression.

Sandløber weaves heartfelt tones and musical storytelling into a rich tapestry when they take the stage. As a listener, you're invited on a journey through majestic sonic landscapes and fragile passages, born from the interaction between the four musicians.
Drawing inspiration from Nordic jazz, Sandløber’s music reaches further, incorporating tonal elements from alternative pop and rock. The result is melodic and atmospheric instrumental music—expressed in a language everyone can understand.

The Aarhus-based ensemble is participating in JazzDanmark’s Jazz Competition in 2025. Alongside a series of concerts around the country, they will release several singles leading up to their debut EP “Gensyn”, which will be released on Blikflak.
