Release Koncert: Alpas Ave, “The Woman In Ashes” + supp. Saltmother

Alpas Ave.
Alpas Ave is like a thunderstorm in slow motion: ominous and wildly captivating. Electronic synthesizers and thundering beats meet live strings and Marianne Ernst Dam's powerful vocals when the duo performs with their live band. In November 2024, Alpas Ave released their debut album The Woman in Ashes, which was praised by GAFFA with 4/6 stars and highlighted by Passive/Aggressive as one of the most appreciated albums of the year. GAFFA has previously written about their live performance: "As a live musical project, Alpas Ave is larger than life on any stage, regardless of size."
Alpas Ave debuted in early 2020 and, with the release of their critically acclaimed debut EP Black Mirror (2021), set their own agenda on the Danish music scene. With songs from their newly released debut album The Woman in Ashes, Alpas Ave leads the audience through an emotional soundscape that both seduces and challenges – a musical journey into longing, freedom, and female strength.

Saltmother
Saltmother is the solo project of singer and composer Amanda Appel. A Saltmother concert is a tour through the history of music, tied together by Amanda Appel’s dramatic vocals and presence. It is an intense, sensitive, grand, quiet, noisy, and sometimes humorous concert experience, featuring eclectic musical elements ranging from medieval ballads, grunge rock, and synthpop.
