Since 2018, Annamette Fuhrmann has been on a mission to raise awareness of menopause. She has now brought together her experiences, anecdotes, and insights in her book Fuhrmann’s Hot Flash Journey.
Annamette Fuhrmann opens the evening by sharing her personal experiences and telling the story of her own encounter with menopause—and what followed in the years after. The talk explores the consequences of not talking openly enough about menopause, what women can expect to go through, how to prepare for this stage of life, and why a strong sense of community during menopause is so important.

Annamette reads passages from the book, and there will also be time for a Q&A session, so please bring your questions along.
