The beloved Danish entertainer and author Sigurd Barrett has held a special place in the hearts of Danes since his breakthrough with Sigurds Bjørnetime and Hit med Sangen on DR1. Now, he is stopping by NORDHUS for a family concert featuring all his well-known songs, accompanied by guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Eskild Dohn. And who knows – perhaps Bjørnen Bjørn and Den grønne Pilfinger will make an appearance too?
Sigurd has performed more than 5,000 concerts, released more than 30 albums, and written more than 40 books, which have sold nearly one million copies in total.
Sigurd is Denmark’s number one family entertainer, appealing to children, parents, and grandparents alike.
His theatre concerts have been performed at the Royal Danish Theatre, and his tours have taken him to cities across Denmark over the past 25 years. Most recently, he released 200 music videos as part of Syng med Sigurd and won the 2022 Children’s Book of the Year award.
