A taste of the stars at NORDHUS
On August 28, we’re firing up the grill in Nordhavn. Together with Copenhagen Cooking, Michael Museth, Kitchen Tech, and Jalm&B, we’ll be serving gourmet hot dogs from the grill throughout the afternoon and evening.
Butcher and TV chef Michael Museth is behind the homemade truffle sausages for the event. With his uncompromising approach to meat, where quality, organic production, and animal welfare always take centre stage, he creates the perfect gourmet hot dog in Nordhavn.
Michael Museth is the founder of the international butcher network Butcher’s Manifesto and was one of the masterminds behind Folkets Madshus on Amager. He has also published the butcher’s book Den glemte gris.
Michael Museth himself will be at the grill during the event.
Kitchen Tech manufactures kitchen equipment for restaurants, butchers and ambitious home cooks. Over the past 15 years, they have specialised in grills – from the Japanese Konro to the modern electric grill. That’s why we have no hesitation in leaving the choice of grill to Kitchen Tech on this late summer’s day.
At Jalm&B bakery, taste and craftsmanship are always the top priority. What’s more, Jalm&B’s baked goods are always 100% organic and made from local ingredients. We’re looking forward to the bakery providing the hot dog buns this Friday, when they’ll be bringing their soft brioche buns. The hot dog buns are filled with butter from Thise and eggs from free-range hens.

The barbecue dinner is part of the ‘A Taste of the Stars’ concept, created by the Copenhagen Cooking food festival. It is a series of gastronomic events that highlights haute cuisine and gives Danes the chance to enjoy ‘A Taste of the Stars’. All because one or more of the dinner’s partners are suppliers to the stars – restaurants associated with the MICHELIN Guide.
Enjoy a gourmet hot dog with truffle sausage made by Michael Museth and brioche bun from Jalm&B for DKK 79. You can also choose a menu including a hot dog, green salad, and potato salad for DKK 149.
The toppings on Michael Museth’s hot dog include truffle mayonnaise, Jerusalem artichoke chips, pickled red onions with lemon thyme, chives, and grated Parmesan.
The bar at NORDHUS is, of course, open all afternoon and evening, serving cold beers, wine and soft drinks. From 3 pm to 5 pm, we have happy hour, when you can buy two spritzes for just 150 DKK.
Book your ticket now to make sure you don’t miss out on this delicious meal.
We look forward to seeing you at our Friday drinks, barbecue and get-together in the courtyard on this lovely late summer’s day!

The dinner is part of the ‘A Taste of the Stars’ series, in which NORDHUS, in collaboration with Copenhagen Cooking, explores some of the world’s finest ingredients – those that usually find their way onto the plates of Michelin-starred restaurants. In the series, we also invite you to a dinner featuring caviar from Rossini, tapas with Arla Unika, a crayfish feast with Fiskerikajen, and fermentation with Matt Orlando and ESSE.
The event is being held in collaboration with Wonderful Copenhagen, Visit Denmark and the Food Organisation of Denmark.
The event runs from 4–7 PM, but of course you’re welcome to stay at NORDHUS for one of our many events, enjoy a cosy moment at the bar, or soak up some sunshine in the courtyard. More details about NORDHUS x Jalm&B x Copenhagen Cooking will be announced soon.
