A taste of the stars at NORDHUS
On 28 August, we’ll be firing up the barbecue in Nordhavn. In collaboration with Copenhagen Cooking, Butcheria, Kitchen Tech and Jalm&B, we’ll be serving gourmet hot dogs from the barbecue all afternoon and evening.
Butcher and founder of Butcheria, Michael Museth, is in charge of the hot dog menu and reinterprets this classic dish with his uncompromising approach to meat, where quality, organic standards and animal welfare are always paramount. Michael Museth is also behind the international butchers’ network Butcher’s Manifesto, Folkets Madshus on Amager, is a TV chef on TV2 and has published the butcher’s book “Den glemte gris” (The Forgotten Pig).
Kitchen Tech manufactures kitchen equipment for restaurants, butchers and ambitious home cooks. Over the past 15 years, they have specialised in grills – from the Japanese Konro to the modern electric grill. That’s why we have no hesitation in leaving the choice of grill to Kitchen Tech on this late summer’s day.
At Jalm&B bakery, taste and craftsmanship are always the top priority. What’s more, Jalm&B’s baked goods are always 100% organic and made from local ingredients. We’re looking forward to the bakery providing the hot dog buns this Friday, when they’ll be bringing their soft brioche buns. The hot dog buns are filled with butter from Thise and eggs from free-range hens.

The barbecue dinner is part of the ‘A Taste of the Stars’ concept, created by the Copenhagen Cooking food festival. It is a series of gastronomic events that highlights haute cuisine and gives Danes the chance to enjoy ‘A Taste of the Stars’. All because one or more of the dinner’s partners are suppliers to the stars – restaurants associated with the MICHELIN Guide.
Enjoy a gourmet hot dog with sausages from Butcheria and brioche buns from Jalm&B for 79 DKK. You can also choose a set menu that includes a hot dog, green salad and potato salad for 149 DKK.
The bar at NORDHUS is, of course, open all afternoon and evening, serving cold beers, wine and soft drinks. From 3 pm to 5 pm, we have happy hour, when you can buy two spritzes for just 150 DKK.
Book your ticket now to make sure you don’t miss out on this delicious meal.
We look forward to seeing you at our Friday drinks, barbecue and get-together in the courtyard on this lovely late summer’s day!

The dinner is part of the ‘A Taste of the Stars’ series, in which NORDHUS, in collaboration with Copenhagen Cooking, explores some of the world’s finest ingredients – those that usually find their way onto the plates of Michelin-starred restaurants. In the series, we also invite you to a dinner featuring caviar from Rossini, tapas with Arla Unika, a crayfish feast with Fiskerikajen, and fermentation with Matt Orlando and ESSE.
The event is being held in collaboration with Wonderful Copenhagen, Visit Denmark and the Food Organisation of Denmark.
The event runs from 4 pm to 7 pm, but you’re of course welcome to stay at NORDHUS for one of our many events, a cozy drink at the bar or a spot of sunshine in the courtyard. Further details about NORDHUS x Butcheria x Copenhagen Cooking will be announced shortly.
